Kraven the Hunter is an reality TV star, where in his show the hunted the most dangerous animals ever, he would eventually learn about Spider-Man and comes to New York with the desire to hunt him, seeing this as his next big challenge and in addition would help and bring down an wanted man.
Kraven would arrive to New York City, where he would be informed that Spider-Man is at Harlem, fighting the Rhino, after Spider-Man defeated the Rhino, Kraven shows up, calling him, as Spider-man jokily asks Rhino how come he doesnt know him if Kraven does. Kraven states its time for both of them to battle, Spider-Man simply asks Kraven to help him aid to the injured bystanders, but Kraven ignores him and attacks him, the two battle as. Spider-Man gains the upper hand, Kraven wont accept his defeat, as he continues fighting, but Spider-Man defeats him again and webs him up, where he would be arrested and taken to jail. Spider-Man

Kraven would share cells with Aleksei Sytsevich who was the Rhino, but eventually Eddie Brock now known as Venom would arrive and free them, seeking their help in order to bring down Spider-Man, Kraven would join forces with Venom, Iron Patriot, Sandman, Rhino and the Lizard to bring terror to New York City in order to bring Spider-Man towards them, when Spider-Man shows up, Kraven shoots him down, but before he kill him, George Stacy shoots Kraven in the leg, S.H.I.E.L.D.
