Richard Parker is the father of Peter Parker and a scientist from S.H.I.E.L.D. who was sent undercover at Oscorp.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
A very secretive and intelligent man, Richard Parker studied extensively in his youth. One day he bought a leather briefcase to keep his notes in, unusual for someone as young as he was at the time. The woman he purchased it from was Mary Fitzpatrick, his future wife. Together they raised their only son Peter in New York City.
Parker was a brilliant scientist would eventually join S.H.I.E.L.D. as one of their scientists, as Nick Fury started to suspect Oscorp activities, he sent Parker undercover at Oscorp, where he spent several years finding what the company was up.
Parker who, along with his colleague Curt Connors, pushed the theory of cross species genetics to advance modern medicine. The pair made a breakthtrough and were hailed as outstanding visionaries, in stark contrast to being mocked for their ideas beforehand. The two set to try and find a cure for a rare fatal disease that Norman Osborn had. Parker found the missing link in the formula to finalise the treatment but hid it, fearing the implications if the treatment fell into the wrong hands, after finding out Oscorp true intentions. Leaving his Son[]
Fearing for Peter safety, He and his wife would leave Peter at the house of his brother Ben Parker and his wife May, Ricahrd would leave his briefcase with some of his notes with Ben, then he and his wife went into the run as Richard descovered something up in Oscorp and was to inform this to S.H.I.E.L.D. but their plane would crash and kill them both, taking all knownledge about Oscorp true intentions to the grave.
