Part of the crew behind the construction of Omega Supreme, Grapple considers himself more of an artist than a mechanic. On Cybertron, before the war, his constructions were considered great works of art, but now his constructions are limited by the realities and needs of the war effort. It is a situation he often finds stifling. Grapple takes great pride in any work he constructs, and is prone to severe bouts of depression should his "masterpieces" be destroyed in battle. He and Hoist have a strong friendship.

Transformers: Broken Mirror[]

Grapple, along with Hoist and Perceptor, was present for when Treadshot was recovered from The Void, having assisted in repairing the 'void gun'.

Transformers: Ascension[]

Voice Actor: Jason Goodchild (English) (Season 1-2), Jack Buttrum (English) (Season 3)

Grapple was seen regularly throughout the first 2 seasons, normally with his Conjunx Endura Hoist. When the Ark went into lockdown, he was the one who told Optimus that they were receiving a message from Megatron.

Grapple was present during the funeral for Optimus, Bumblebee, Rodimus, Red Alert, and Trailbreaker.

Grapple assisted Grace and Treadshot in restoring the Ark's Power.

Grapple and Hoist were looking for a shard when Heist and Skywatch attacked them. When Hoist got shot being unable to transform, he told Grapple to leave and warn the other Autobots. Reluctantly, he left through a Space Bridge. He told Treadshot to bring him back safe, as Hoist meant the world to him.

Grapple helped attack the Obsidian when Treadshot and Prowl had been captured.
