Blackout is one of the most loyal Decepticons on the face of the Universe. Loyal to Megatron, wishing to serve him to the end, Blackout therefore hates any traitors that gets in between Megatron and his rightful place as leader, such as Starscream.

Blackout came with Megatron to earth. He was sent by Megatron to capture Bumblebee, and he did so. Laughing, he, Skyquake, Scorponok, and Barricade captured the Autobot. Part One: The Capture
In the Non-Cannon version, Blackout confronted Bumblebee in the parking lot where the Autobot had just battled Barricade. He sent Scorponok to attack Bumblebee, and they took him back to base. Part One: The Capture
Blackout did not enjoy watching Starscream attempt to takeover the Decepticons, so he disagreed, stating that Megatron was not dead. When Galvatron came along, and said that he wasn't dead, Blackout noted this to Starscream, who blasted him aside and battled Galvatron. Later on, Blackout was again beaten down, this time by Bumblebee, when the Autobot was attempting to escape. Part Two: The Search
Blackout woke up to Starscream escaping. Blackout chased him down to a skywcraper, where the two battled until both were very damaged. Blackout, damaged, was soon flung off the edge, thought to be dead by Starscream and others. Part Three: Reinforcements
Blackout made an unexpected appearance, because he was thought dead. He had tumbled into Shockwave's lab, obviously wanting to tell Megatron something. Episode 6
